Track Skills & Fitness Coaching
Once you've decided that track cycling seems like great fun and you've sorted yourself a bike (you can HIRE A BIKE from us), you're welcome to come along to our weekly Track Skills & Fitness Coaching.
This generally runs every Saturday for two sessions - 1) 8am-10am, then 2) 10am-12pm through the summer season, and focuses on the basics of track riding, building your track fitness, and developing your track riding skills so you feel more confident to also ride RACE NIGHTS and TEAM TRAINING. These sessions are tailored to the skill level of participants, so can be ideal for beginners, as well as those more seasoned. The more track time the better!
Part of the Track Skills training for the newbies, is to get you ready for accreditation - which is for you to be coached to a level where you can safely ride unsupervised. As we do some of our racing at the Grassroots Trust Velodrome in Cambridge, riders are required to be accredited to in order to ride on that velodrome, so that will require a trip down there.
Fees:
$10/session OR $150 for the season. Payable to Coach Logan, on the day. (Excludes the final costs of accreditation).
